About Us

In the mid 1970's Captain Andrew J. Rae developed an Audio-Visual Correspondence Course to enable students to prepare for the Transport Canada Examinations for Masters and Mates. These courses have evolved over the years into eLearning modules and are now delivered on a USB drive (Windows Compatible Only) for individual use.

In 2016 we produced our first Marine Engineering eLearning course with Chief Engineer Gerry McDonald, who has over 30 years experience as a marine engineer. Since then we have developed, and added 11 more eLearning modules to our Marine Engineering course list. These courses have been developed using the Transport Canada syllabuses and are also delivered on a USB drive (Windows Compatible Only) for individual use.

In 2022 we published Alexandr Yakimchuk's eBook, Ship LV Power Plant for Marine Engineers and ETOs. This book is available as a download or shipped on a USB drive (Windows Compatible Only).

Alexandr Yakimchuk has over 30 years’ experience in marine automation. He graduated from State Maritime Academy in 1987 and has a Master’s degree in Marine Automation and Electrical Installations Engineering. He gained sea experience on board cruise liners, rising to the position of Chief Electrical Engineer.
